Wang Lei, a leading medical figure in Guangdong Province, has worked hard for decades for his beloved medical career. He founded the largest radioactive enteritis diagnosis and treatment center in China, and the number of patients hospitalized with radioprotic inflammation ranks among the best in China. Many patients came from other provinces and cities, and Babaylan regained their health here.
He is a teacher and takes talent cultivation as his responsibility. So far, he has trained 16 graduate students, including 11 doctoral students and 5 master students. The students he trained have become leaders in their respective fields. Inspired by him, over the past five years, his students have published nearly 100 SCI papers in world-renowned journals such as Cancer Cell and GastroenteroKomikslogy, more than 30 Chinese core journals, 3 monographs edited and translated, 8 monographs participated in editing, and 5 patents were obtained.
He also presided over more than 10 vertical scientific research projects, including one national science and technology support plan, four national natural science fund projects, one doctoral fund project of the Ministry of Education, two key projects of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the scientific research fund reached more than 12 million yuan.
