Any Cinema political party has political attributes and has its own political mission, political goals, and political pursuits. Marxist parties have lofty political ideals, noble political pursuits, pure political qualities, and strict political discipline. The legitimacy of the Communist Party of China’s governance is a choice made by history and the people, and advanced nature and purity are the political advantages of the Party’s ability to maintain its long-term ruling status. When our party was first born, it was as weak as a newborn baby, but had lofty goals and noble hearts. Our party is a great party, a glorious party, and a correct party. Leading the people to carry out profound social revolution, seek happiness for the Chinese people, seek rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, and ultimately realizing communism is the fundamental driving force that inspires the Chinese Communists to continue to move forward. Edgar Snow wrote in “The Westward Journey” that the sincere and urgent goal of the Red Army has always been to shock and arouse hundreds of millions of people, call them to fight for the “people are masters of their own country” and fight for a just, equal, free and dignified life. This ideal and this belief not only accompanied the Red Army through thousands of mountains and rivers, but also made a prairie fire, forging a youthful People’s Republic. In his 2020 New Year’s message, General Secretary Xi Jinping profoundly pointed out: “The original aspiration and mission are the inexhaustible motivation for us to walk the Long March of the new era.” This once again reminds us that the longer we rule, the more we cannot lose the true nature of a Marxist party, the more we cannot forget the party’s original aspiration and mission, and the more we cannot lose the spirit of self-revolution.

One of the important reasons is that China’s excellent traditional culture has strong vitality and the Chinese people have a great national spirit. It is this background and gene that has enabled the Communist Party of China to develop from only more than 50 party members to more than 90 million party members, becoming the world’s largest ruling party. Practice has proved that if you stick to your original aspiration and mission, you can gather a powerful force for unity and strive for oneself, and the cause of the Party and the country will prosper and develop for a long time; if you deviate from your original aspiration and mission, you will lose your spiritual pillar, disarm yourself, and be abandoned by history and the people.
